Pack 47 gathers on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for fun, learning, and adventure! (Be sure to check the calendar below—sometimes our dates shift a bit to make room for school holidays and special events.) Dens usually meet once a month, with each den choosing its own meeting day and time.

  • Get ready for an evening of fun, food, and scouting adventures! Join us for our annual Pack 47 Join Night at Ute Meadows Elementary School. We’ll have games, PIZZA, and info for new families—plus plenty of fun for our current Scouts!
  • Come hungry, bring a friend and your energy, and get ready to join the adventure!

• Lace up those hiking boots! 🥾 Pack 47 is hitting the trails at Mt. Falcon (West Trailhead) on August 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. Join us for fresh air, great views, and plenty of Cub Scout adventure!

• 🏕️ Family Camping at Chatfield State Park — Friday, October 3rd – Sunday, October 5th, 2025
  • Pack up your tents and get ready for a weekend of outdoor fun! 🌲 Families are welcome to arrive Friday night to set up camp and settle in. On Saturday, we’ll kick off exciting Den activities, followed by a Pack campfire filled with songs, skits, and laughter 🔥—plus a special Flag Retirement ceremony under the stars.
• 🎃 Pumpkin Smash – Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. – Ute Meadows
  • Get ready for our Annual Pumpkin Smash—one of Pack 47’s most exciting traditions! Scouts will stuff pumpkins with all sorts of fun surprises… then watch them drop from high above and explode in spectacular fashion. 💥 You won’t want to miss this smashing good time!
• 🏥 Hospital Care Packages, Chili Cook-Off & Potluck Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. – Ute Meadows
  • Join us for a heartwarming evening of giving and good eats! We’ll make care packages for local hospital patients, taste some delicious chili creations, and share a potluck feast with friends and family. ❤️🍲
• 🦎 Critters Meeting – Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. – Ute Meadows
  • Get ready to meet some amazing creatures—from cool, scaly lizards to slithery snakes! 🐍 You’ll get up close, maybe even touch a few, and learn all about these fascinating critters. This is one wild, slithery adventure you won’t want to miss!

  • Dive into fun at our annual Blue & Gold Celebration! Join Pack 47 for a private pool party and pizza feast—an evening full of splashes, laughs, and great memories made just for our Scouts and families. You won’t want to miss this splash-tastic tradition! 🏊‍♂️🍕🎈
• 🚢 Battle Ship Sock War – Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. — Ute Meadows
  • Get ready for a blast! Scouts will build epic battle ships out of boxes (way cooler than it sounds) and then launch a clean sock attack to sink them! 🧦💥 It’s creative, messy, and tons of fun—don’t miss the action! — Again, CLEAN socks will be used.
• 🏁 Pack Meeting: April Pinewood Derby Race — Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. – Southwest Plaza Mall
  • Start your engines and get ready to race! 🏎️ Don’t miss the excitement and friendly competition at our April Pinewood Derby — it’s fast, fun, and full of thrills!
