Boys and Girls in the first grade are Tigers and work on adventures found in the Tiger Handbook, which Scouts should bring to each den meeting.

A Tiger joins Cub Scouts with his parent or adult guardian, who is required to attend meetings, go on field trips, and complete requirements with their Tiger scout.

Tiger Requirements – Learn more about the requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to earn the Tiger badge and advance to the next rank.

The uniform is an important part of the Scouting program, especially for youth early on their scout trail. It identifies the scouts and adults with Tigers and gives them a sense of belonging to the den, the pack, and the BSA. Scouts enjoy wearing their Tiger uniform. They should wear it to all den meetings, pack meetings, and special pack activities. They are also encouraged to wear their uniforms to school on the day of their den or pack meeting should they wish to do so.

The uniform for the Tiger is the official blue Cub Scout shirt with orange/blue Tiger neckerchief and neckerchief slide, and blue pants or shorts. The official Tiger cap, blue web belt with a Tiger buckle, and blue socks with orange band are optional and complete the uniform.

Uniform pieces can be purchased from the Scout Shop in Lakewood or online here: https://www.scoutshop.org/shop-by-scout/cub-scouts/tiger-first-grade.html?utm_source=scoutshop&utm_medium=ShopbyScout_CubScout&utm_campaign=Tiger_graphic
