Annual Popcorn Fundraiser

Trail’s End Popcorn

Pack 47’s primary fundraiser is the sale of Trail’s End Popcorn each Fall, beginning in August.  If our goal of $500 sold per Scout is reached, we will be able to continue to fund many of the events that our Scouts participate in throughout the year.  Events such as the Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold ceremony, Arrow of Light Ceremony, and all Pack Meeting activities are paid for with popcorn revenue.  We also use funds to offset the cost of uniforms, reimburse a portion of the cost of summer camp, and keep annual registration fees as low as possible for our scouts.

Scouts can participate in a variety of ways

Store Front Shifts – sign up for the Trails End app and use the registration code FA8TE

Online Sales – This is the best way to sell to your friends and family who live out of town.  You can send emails to your customers asking them to purchase Trail’s End popcorn online.  Friends and family can order year-round!

Show-n-Sells – The Pack obtains permission to set up a display of products in front of local retail stores and scouts sell to people as they pass by.  This provides a safe, supervised way for scouts to sell to the general public.

Door-to-door – The most traditional way to sell popcorn; going door-to-door with the take order form, which you receive from your den leader.  Popcorn is delivered at a later date.

Show & Deliver – You carry Trail’s End popcorn with you to show to your customers as you visit them.  The customer is able to select the products he or she wishes to buy from your product selection.

Corporate – Selling to businesses is a great way to make sales, whether the owner buys popcorn as gifts for their employees, or they allow the popcorn to be sold at the lobby or break room.
