Uniforms
The Denver Scout Shop is where you will purchase the essentials for your Cub Scout, including their handbook and uniform. You will need to purchase the following:
- Handbook for the appropriate den: Lion (Kindergarten), Tiger (1st grade), Wolf (2nd grade), Bear (3rd grade) or Webelos (4th and 5th grade).
- For ranks Tiger through Bear a Navy uniform shirt. Webelos wear the khaki uniform shirt. Lions wear a t-shirt style uniform shirt.
- Neckerchief for the appropriate den.
- Slide with the emblem of the appropriate den
- Navy Cub Scout belt, used to hold the belt loops your scout will earn. Again, be sure to size up, especially since the belts can be adjusted to fit any sized waist.
- Patches to be sewn or ironed on to your scout’s shirt. Let a Scout Shop employee know that your scout is in Pack 47 of the Timberline District and they will provide you with the appropriate patches.
- Other items, such as pants, skorts, capris, and hats, are optional and not a required part of the uniform.
This website is a great resource, it shows the required uniform for all ranks.
For information on where to sew or iron on patches, refer to the Cub Scout Insignia Guide.
